The Ruey Coats {English}

Rather seek and hunt then to allow them to continue is what the red and blue coats stand for.
— Arrik Helmen, Ruey Coat
Formed by a group that wanted to aid in the hunt for criminals, now they seek to gather the criminals to justice and law. The Ruey Coats as they are called are a group or rather a brotherhood/sisterhood that enforces law though the hunt of criminals. They also provide investigatory help for local lords and/or governments that require similar services. They are a travelling organisation that spans over three countries of Telamirein.

Public Agenda

The Ruey Coats was formed during a time of unrest in the territory of what is today Ravero, several criminal elements had risen in the south-east and organized crime was rampant across the border with the Kingdom of Telaron. They focus on fighting criminals by hunting them and investigating crimes through knowledged and method developed over several years of work. Many see them as simple bounty hunters or additional guards, but their prime goal when walking into a settlement is to solve crime and injustice in whatever shape and form it takes. Some in the organization have a tendency for being extreme with their law abinding and enforcement of said laws, which is why the Code of Coats exists.

Assets

There are no exact numbers on how many are an official Ruey Coat. According to some ledges kept by their leader, there is close to 1000 of them roaming the Kingdom of Ravero, the Kingdom of Telaron and Nilaminra. Many carry their own equipment but the blue and red coat is a signum for them. Many also carry the short sword and knuckle-dusters like the original two Ruey Coats used during their time. They also carry their own documentation for the sake of being able to identify as a Ruey Coat.

History

For the kingdoms of Ravero and Telaron, criminal elements was mostly found in and around the larger towns and in the capitals where watchmen and guards took care of them in their lords names. But with changing, times came also changing criminals. Criminals began to move out of the largest of towns and many decided that the south and south-east were prime grounds for expansion. Towns and villages like Dunnd lived with several criminal elements without protection except if there was a town or village guard/militia. As no professional anti-criminal organization existed, there was an acceptance to these elements new preying grounds and the towns and villages did what they could.
In 1981 V.D. a couple of teenagers had enough. The two youths, a boy named Erland and a girl named Finora, took on criminals themselves in their home town, acting as vigilantes more or less. This did go on for three months until they were captured and beaten by the criminals they sought to fight. After that, they decided to get their friends in on it and help from local guards or even former criminals. As it turned out, Erland and Finora was eventually forming a group called The Ruey Coats, called so for the red and blue coats that they wore during patrols and hunts. Erland and Finora, once successful in their home town began to expand to it as travelling investigators and hunters of criminals. Some began to see them a bit like Rhyn and Reliona, the sibling Gods, as they together hunted criminals.
