The Necur, or demons, of Glarn have had to face discrimintion from the Human population. Even if the situation has been worse before, Glarn still face the problems with the demon-human relationship as long as The War for Marlun continues. That is why the demons, who has a much harder time to being elected to the Council of Glarn, have their own leader, the Ceannair of Glarn.

A leader of the people

The title of Ceannaire, or sometimes called elder or chief amonsgt themselves, is a title given by the demon community of Glarn to one of their own they see fit to "lead" the community, being a advisor to them in a variety of matters. The Ceannaire is respected by the community as a intregate part of handeling internal problems as a mediator. They usally also have some sort of contact with the Mayor of Glarn depending on the character of both leaders. A demon-hostile mayor would not recive any welcome from the Ceannaire as they try to protect the demons rights.
