Precursor Document A55-01
The Document A55-01 is a
Precursor document that was recovered from a barely functional Precursor pad that was found in the 2455 Arctic expedition in the Oliben complex.
While we have copies of the text, nobody has been able to translate it thus far as the written text is in another, completely different alphabet compared to the Precursor one known to man.
This second alphabet is composed of more complex letters which change colour in both the body and the accent.
Even though we were able to translate the letters, the language used is different, as if it was another one spoken by the Precursors.

The purpose of the text is unknown to this day but judging from its structure it's thought to be some kind of poetry.
Historical Details
Of uncertain age, the document was recovered from a Precursor pad found during an expedition in the Oliben complex.
After its discovery, the document ignited a newly found interest in Precursor-studies worldwide; researchers from all over Nijin-Konai congregated in Alkhaver on the Thyme in Gleann Blathànna to decipher the text.
The writing is in another language, written in coloured letters and different punctuation types than the Lithen we know; throughout the years, we were able to slowly but surely decipher the symbols and associate them with sounds and, thanks to our pre-existing knowledge of Precursor languages we were able to translate some words that shared roots with the known Lithen.
The
Deshivohai machines refuse to disclose its contents however they allowed us to keep a copy of the text for future reference, confusing even further the public on the machines agenda.
As with almost any Precursor discovery, the document was the subjects of many discussions both in the academic field and among the public; attracting Precursor-enthusiasts and curious minds alike.
A small demographic interpreted the document to be some kind of prophecy, with several Precursor channelling mediums claiming to be in contact with Precursor spirits translating the text.
Although the predictions they claimed were contained inside the text were thoroughly debunked by Sophontologists, there are several people who still claim these predictions as true.
This document along with the many other discoveries brought by the 2455 expedition helped elevate the name of the Arctic Research Museum of Alkhaver on the Thyme to a now very renowned level among Precursor researchers and enthusiasts.
As one of the few written Precursor documents in existence, it is often cited in textbooks on the subject as a go-to reference on written art.
