Zachary (Zach) Hugo Frey
Zach's a little annoying, but he's likeable. He acts like he doesn't care, but of course he does. And he's a lot nicer than he likes to think he is. He has a bit of an ego, but can usually reign it in. His general attitude when it comes to people is that they're not going to stick around very long anyway, so he'll play kinda nice but he tries not to get invested easily. By the end of the story, maybe he'll start to figure out that not all friendships are immediately going to crash and burn, and maybe he'll figure out that even if something's not going to last, that doesn't mean it can't be good to enjoy it while it lasts.
