With the wood being soft yet strong harder than the Dark Eucalyptus and almost just as strong as the Blood Apple Wood making it a fav and many like the colour. This wood is used as mach as the Blood Apple Wood or more.

The tech in the Dark Wood Forest grows they started to grow and cut the tree for the wood but they made sure no one can cut all tree down. it was found to be strong than used more in building and furniture when they moved away from Wooden houses.
