Unull Tribe

Nowadays, no one calls the Unull people nothing else but the western barbarians. The Unull Tribe was the one who through ruled the lands for centuries until they were driven out by the very first king of the new dynasty. They are nomadic people who are expert in herding various wild animals and are therefore able to survive in the wild steps and steep mountains of the west. But those tough conditions not only made them move around a lot with all their belongings so their animals have always fresh grass to eat and don't suffer through winter, but they also amassed most of their wealth through raids and other type of conquest. The more the weather in the west turns bad, the more driven are these people to get to the fertile eastern and southern grounds to keep their own people fed and well provided for. And hey, if there is a chance to conquer said other people and make them work for you, the better.
Naturally, the previous regime was very favourable to the Unull, other nomadic people and to complete strangers, as the Unull don't hide their fascination with travelling and exploring new areas and places in the world. They also saw it as a unique opportunity to advance these lands technologically, culturally and philosophically, by embracing and welcoming ideas from all over the world. Unull are inquisitive in nature, curiosity driven and tenatios. They don't get scared, they get challenged. And they love a good challenge to prove their skills and might.
Their main trade are animals and animal poducts. They are excellent horse breeders, wolf tamers and they make one of the most unique and exquisite woven fabrics out of the wild mountain sheep. Currently, all of these need either special permit from the kingdom to be traded there, but more often they are simply smuggled in.
