Cartal Varrina is currently 70 years old. He is originally from the warm east coast, where the sun always shines. The Varrinas are very public-friendly, and they care much for the common people. The middle- and lower-class people know them as the voice of the common folk, in the council of the nobles. Cartal is a huge people-person, his family is big, and can be found all over the world. They all serve as tax-managers, managing the sales of everything in all the big cities, making sure people pay the percentage of their overall sales, as they are supposed to. This allows them to get eye to eye with the citizens and get to know them better than any of the other noble families.

They spend a fair amount of time in their individual provinces, in the larger cities of Oran you'll be able to find a Varrina office, where one of the many family members of the Varrina bloodline will be working and keeping taxes and trade in order.
