NOVA!-Club
The famous NOVA!-Club is one of the hottest nightclubs in the Detroit Sector.
Purpose / Function
The NOVA!-Club is a well established nightclub in the heart of Detroit's entertainment mile. The club is highly popular and has a long guestlist thus it is nearly impossible for the average party-goer to get in on the weekend. The NOVA!-Club stands out due to it's signature neon lit ambiance high up in the sky, colourful aquariums. One reason for the club's renown are the trend-setting DJs, famous bands and top labels that regularly are booked for live acts on the two stages of the club, hosted events aswell as the professional show bartenders at the Rainbow Bar.
Architecture
The NOVA!-Club occupies the three top most floors (75th - 77th) of the Prospect Tower skyscraper in Downtown Detroit. The rooftop which is 319 meters above streetlevel is also part of the venue. The queue for the club is at the ground floor with a seperate lane for VIP Guests. The actual venue is reached via four elevators, which take guests to the 75th Floor.
75th FLOOR
Much of the 75th floor is occupied by the enterence area and coat check. Within the enterence area there is a lot of seating and signature decorations such as the huge plasma lamp and aquarium pillar.
76th Floor
On the 76th floor is the largest dance floor of the NOVA!-Club with a cutting edge sound system and light system. Also on this floor is the popular Rainbow Bar.
77th Floor
A medium sized dance floor with an adjecent stage is on the 77th Floor. While the backstage takes up much of the floor, there is also the Neon Lounge and toilets to be found.
Roof
On the roof is Green Sky, a lush bio-dome with lots of plants and trees. The dome is virbantly illuminated and offeres a chill-out zone with ample seating and a dance floor with stage for music from DJs or live acts.
