They serve the king/queen for 50 years or until they die before anyone else takes up the mantle. They help protect the royal children if any when the ruler is out of town.   

Battles

  They call for backup when they need desperately need help defending the throne. This doesn’t happen often. When there is a war going on they protect the royal family at all costs.

Composition

Manpower

2 people max. Its been this way for over 200 years. More than 2 has been too much to handle financially.

Weaponry

They use guns that are specifically made for this job. They come equipped with major piercing and really lethal bullets. They resemble a rifle with scoping and fast loading speed. They are kept under locks during the night and handed out during work hours.

Recruitment

They must’ve served in the military for awhile and recognized as best of the best. There are usually 4-5 contenders and the king/queen get to choose which 2 get the job. This is a fair way to judge and everyone who doesn’t get it, doesn’t complain.

History

They are used when there is an attack on the King or Queen. The most famous battle was the night of terror. More warriors had to be requested due to the high amount of enemy soldiers. It was a very close call. It’s considered a very important job and an honor.

Historical loyalties

It used to be the entire country but its been changed to the king/queen due to a lot of work and stress for the guards.
