Disc Throwing

Written by TheDoctor292

They used to do a sport but they don't do it anymore due to battles happening more often than they did before. Kids are the ones that used to play it the most but few adults also played it.

History

This sport was conceived by a man called Vente Alterio. He wanted a game where there is a simple goal. Score as much points as possible in 10 minutes. A few of his friends helped him with the mechanics. This new sport got popular fast and that’s all he wanted. It evolved over 300 years. The amount of people per team got changed because it became more popular and more people wanted to play.   Battles got more frequent every year and eventually the sport got discontinued. It was too risky being out in the open. Most kids weren’t happy about this but didn’t complain. This sport was always for fun but many considered it a game that has been a thing to clear their mind.

Execution

Theres two teams with 5 people per team. It was orginally 1 per team. You throw a plastic disc through a hoop. Each goal is worth 2 points. Each game lasts for 10 minutes. Usually one team switches out when the game's over.   There's no risk of getting hurt. Its really fun and builds teamwork and it's nice and relaxing.

Components and tools

A plastic or rubber disc and 2 teams of 5.

Participants

Kids to play the game, adults that monitor them and friends that cheer them on.

Observance

After school or during free time.
I loved watching the kids play together. They had fun and they're sad that they can't play it anymore. I am too but it was probably for the best. I don't want them to get hurt. - School Teacher
