Nectar

One of the hubs of Lunar life, Nectar is poised on the cusp of a Golden Age as most of it's populace moves from Old Nectar to the shining, open spaces of New Nectar. As the bright lights of the rich and prosperous move from the cramped tunnel beehive of the old city into the expansive cavern of the new, two new power vacuums appear; which syndicate will provide for the twisted depredations of the glitterati, and who will control the vices of the clanking masses left behind? In corner offices and coffee bars, in morph boutiques and mesh meets, the triads, cults, gangs and syndicates begin sharpening their knives.   As Nectar itself balances on the cusp of change, so too does greater Luna and the rest of the LLA. Subshuttle construction reaches a fevered pitch as the long-held dream of connecting the old Lunar cities together in one moon-spanning transit network nears completion. In each metroplex, Nectar included, contracts for skilled labor and competent infugees rise in value moment-to-moment, allowing a brief goldilocks moment where the great dream of the indenture -- freedom and a body -- becomes reachable in mere months for a select few. In the mesh servers and processing hubs of Luna, a quiet war among ghosts takes place as disembodied brokers, miners, fixers and desperate masses strive for a chance to rejoin the ranks of the sleeved. In the darkened tunnels where work continues apace, safety protocols are stretched to their limits and beyond as demands for constant progress grow from a restless populace; a dangerous practice on a moon where the regolith hides forgotten secrets and the burrowed lairs of Exsurgents.
