Navarium A world re-born from the Great Flood holds a long forgotten secret

The 5th day of the 7th month, 64 ACW

Long ago, the Navarai Empire ruled over the land, sea, and sky, reaching to the far end of the known world. Those within its reach knew naught but an abundance of wealth, happiness, and good health. Under the waves of the Nul'Ahq sea stood the crown jewel of the Empire, the Navarian City of Brimond. It was within these walls where knowledge and innovation flourished beyond all imagination. Spanning several miles of the sea bed, Brimond was called home by the brightest and most Noble of the Navarian society. Under the guiding hand of the ancient gods of the sea, the people of Brimond were able to make technological advancements decades beyond their time. They were given locations of ancient temples and burial grounds, filled with treasures and knowledge beyond any mortal's wildest fantasy, the culmination of which was the discovery of the wishing stone, a relic of eons past that would grant the user a single wish. The stone was given to the standing Emperor, Harjas III. In exchange for this, the gods made him swear a vow that would share the wealth of the sea with those above the waves.   As years passed, the emperor broke his promise time and time again, hoarding more and more of the sea's spoils for himself and his nobles within the walls of Brimond. This angered the gods, and as punishment, they set forth a flood of apocalyptic proportions upon the land, wiping out the entirety of the surface world. As the terrified citizens of Brimond attempted to flee, one by one they were smitten down by the gods of the sea, leaving none but the Emperor himself begging for mercy. The gods locked him away in his own manor, condemned to die alone, his wealth his only company.   As the centuries passed, and new life was once again allowed to thrive on the surface, any record of the Navarian Empire was lost to time. Only rumors and legends were whispered between drunks in the local taverns, speaking of the vast riches and ancient magic locked away somewhere beneath the waves. Few have dared tried to navigate the treacherous waters in search of what lies below, but none are ever seen again.   It is here in the shantytown of Brightwater, where a trio of the most unlikely of heroes are about to change the course of history.
