Material Characteristics

An herbaceous plant that grows in mild or colder areas. The plant itself is a collection of vines growing from a single source of roots in the ground. Along the vines, small collections of leaves typically grow every few inches. The plant forms light blue flowers and large, bulbous blue fruit.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The fruit of the flower is not edible. Although it's technically a fruit because of the way it forms, under it's thin skin are combinations of very cold chemicals secreted by the plant. At the core of the fruit; however, are seeds surrounded by a starchy covering.
