Bituminite
A dark, sedimentary rock with flammable characteristics.
Properties
Physical & Chemical Properties
When synthesized into a gas, this coal based substance burns easily. As a result, it is often stored and sold to be used in lighting or fire starters. Larger cities often have a thriving economy for it because there's a high demand from traveling merchants and/or nearby villages. Because of it's volatile properties however, it's not widely used outside of the immediate sphere of influence of the cities capable of producing it. Not because it's not useful, it's just too dangerous to try to transport it.
