The Court of Princes.

The Court of Princes is a large plaze square surrounded by buildings ardoned with various crests and statues describing the various accomplishments of the 11 princes of Landdendrachen. It houses the representatives for each prince in the kingdom and serves as their place of residence when visiting the city with many servants to cater their every whim. It is positioned fairly close to the Palace of Drachenhold and the Drachenschtag for easy access for the princes during matters of stately duty.

Purpose / Function

The court was built upon the old senatorial plaza of the ancient city Drachenhold was built upon. Repurposed It houses the representatives for each prince in the kingdom and serves as their place of residence when visiting the city while also housing their many servants. Its location was chosen to be close to the Palace of Drachenhold and the Drachenschtag in order to reuce travel time. Each building in the plaza represents the princeley house of a duchy and is thus decorated to show both their heraldry and history. This is often changed when a princedoms ruling house is replaced by another.

History

Built in the early days of the Kingdom of Lanndendrach on top of the ancient city that came befores senetorial plaza. Exapnding over the coming centuries as new princedoms were added to the kingdom with new buildings being erected to stand as their stronghold within the city.
It has miraculously survived numerous revolts and attacks on the city, despite parts of it at various times being damaged, the court as a whole has withstood the test of time, leading to many to believe the plaza it stands on is blessed by the dragons themselves.
In times as recent as 5750 it has been the location of various fighting and assasinations among princes vying for power, leading to chaos and intrigue within the court with different scandals leaking out into the public of drachenhold each day.
