Raging Blade of Dae

History

The Raging Blade of Dae is said to have been forged thousands of years ago by the legendary Dwarf and Elf smithing duo Eigeward and Saefar in the year 1052 AGD, as a present to be preseted to the Nordalf Emperor for his 200th birthday. Said to be made with the shards of a fallen god of wars blade, it gave its wielder a tremendous boon of strength on the field of battle, causing its wielder to fly into a blood fueled rage that would not be quenched until all opposing them were slain.
Despiite only being used in a few battles, the blade beccame infamous among the many rebels of the empire. But the blade was lost during the Fall from Heaven in 1060 AGD, when the Heavenfall Meteor struck Daemos impacting directing upon the Nordalf capital of Scalathien and destroying many cities and town for hundreds of miles around. Despite being in the radius the Raging Blade of Dae survived and was found not far from the impact zone amongst the destruction by a young orc called Arkzorius Harmae, who would go on to start the first orc horde called Horde Arkzor with which he would roam around the lands pillaging and raiding the lands in their nomadic lifestyle as Arkzorius sated the warlust of his blade.
When Arkzorius died his blade was allegedly buried with him in a vast tomb complex within the frozen steppes and tundras of Borialum, the location of which was lost to time once the last of his heirs was wiped out a hundred years later when the Arkzor Horde was wiped out by a rival horde.

Significance

This weapon was rumored to be made from a shard of the wargod Daemos's greatsword, which fell to Natia during his and his brothers legendary destruction at the dawn of magic which was recovered by the Nordalf empire at some point in the early 1000s AGD.
