Warforged

The term Warforged was the first name that these beings were given, named after what they were created for, war. Since then, many techniques have forked off from the original designs and processes, with different inventors and creators giving their own spins on new designs.
The name Warforged continues to be used and often comes with negative connotations, even being known to offend other types of creations or even their creators. The more general term of The Forged is widely accepted as a reasonable replacement terminology whereas many other terms in different regions can be used.
Whatever the method, the main concept remains the same. A body is created or forged from materials and a soul is implanted and bound to that body via a magical ritual.
