Tibethan's Hut
Just inside the perimeter wall of Lorkeep close to the eastern gate, is a crooked, dome-like wooden structure known as Tibethan's Hut. It features various stone supports on the outer walls and a rather large vent on the roof of the structure to allow smoke to escape easily. There are no buildings and a large space directly on either side of it, giving it a stand-out appearance compared to the surrounding structures, all of which are much closer together.
It is familiar to the residents of the city as well as some frequent travelers as a destination for incredibly sick, wounded or cursed individuals to receive treatment. When smoke emanates from the roof it is a sure sign a healing ritual is in progress and she is not to be disturbed. Very few 'regular' city folk have witnessed these rituals, however, it is widely believed that they feature elaborate chalk drawings, incense burning and chanting among other speculations.
Some of the more powerful healing comes with a great material cost with physical and mental strains on the body and mind. Only those with the means to make these payments are able to be healed by Tibethan's rituals and she is only able to perform a handful a day depending on the strength and power required. Therefore only the very worst afflicted with wealth are usually sent in her direction.
Tibethan has been a healer associated with the city for several years and she works very closely with the Verndari (town guard) and the Umbra Collective. The hut has been a part of these healing operations since it was built approximately four years ago, sometimes it can be in use multiple times a week and other times it can lay dormant for weeks or months at a time.
Additionally, Tibethan owns a separate building across the street from the hut in which she creates and sells various healing and general goods supplies for her own stockpiles and for others to purchase.
