Discanil, god of Lies
A powerful and insane being, Discanil defies the patterns established by the other tetrads. With little to no motivation, he spends his time entertaining himself by impersonationg other gods, driving people mad, and undoing strands of the arcana in an attempt to encourage magical chaos to spill onto the material plane. A few of the incidents with wild magic in nardish have been partly his doing. Most of Discanil's followers believe they are following a real god, although this god does not agree. He also supports many desperate and slightly unhinged casters in their persuit of any of the things his mortal souls desired when they performed the ritual: chaos, knowledge, power, magic.
Divine Domains
Lies. Discanil is not tied to any strands in the ways other gods are, and is able and willing to grant power to whoever he desires.

Personal history
A result of an early ascension ritual, Discanil is the messy result of the fusion of parts of four souls. The four people who performed the ritual did not know the concequences, or how to perform it properly. They did not intend to become gods, but were driven by motivations like curiosity or greed or chaos.
Discanil is driven by these motivations, and the whispers of the four original souls. He both is these voices and hears them, and his mind is not equivilent to mortal minds. To say he was "driven mad" would be wrong, he has never been anything other that completely out of touch with reality. Roaming the arcana with an intent to make the world a less truthful place, to reflect his mind and his unnatural creation, he makes a habit of impersonating gods to grant power to the unfaithful, or pretend to be what he isn't.
