On the continent of Draconia at the prestigious school of magic Manifesto the aging potions professor Durlin finds an infant white dragon born swaddled in rags with a note pleading for someone to help this beautiful baby, and that is where Ariwyn’s story begins. Durlin took on the role of father to young Arimyn and raised her as his own. It was a happy life for both as Durlin never had a child of his own, however as he grew older the fear of mortality took him over, and he began seeking ways for immortality. As he searched for a way to increase his life span he began to search through the dark archives when he stumbled upon a spell that involved sacrificing a child do a demon in return for the child’s life force. With his mind crippled with fear of death he choses to attempt the sacrifice with Ariwyn. As he begins the incantation with tears streaming down his face staring at his dear beloved daughter he finishes the process and the drawn circle lights with dark red and there a demon appears. However, to the surprise of the demon and Durlin the young girl possessed magical power surpassing even the demons. And as the demon begins attempting to steal her life force, the demon himself is absorbed into Ariwyn. And as the process completes Ariwyn is left sitting amidst the circle with her normal happy grin but a hideous black mark left over her heart, and at that moment the other professors come storming in and see what is occurring. Stricken with sorrow and disbelief Durin looks at Ariwyn apologizes and disappears before being captured. 20 years later Ariwyn following in Durlins footsteps becomes the potion master herself, after graduating top of her class. Though she is a professor people avoid her and are cautious around as she spends most of her time speaking seemingly to herself. Unknown to   her fellow professors or even herself the demon from 20 years ago still resides within her trying to take the soul from his prey, slowly trying to take over her. One day an explosion goes off in her class room after a failed potion attempt, leaving several students injured and one dead Ariwyn is forced to leave the school the only home she knows, with tears down her face and a smile from cheek to cheek Ariwyn choses not to be angry and instead takes the opportunity to seek out her lost adopted father, and explore the vast lands outside the kingdom, while continuing to make new potions.

Character drives: Ariwyn is a kind shadow sorcerer who never shy’s from new expierences and adventures. She is always smiling no matter how difficult or daunting the circumstances are, her bubbly personality makes it easy for her to make friends though they are still worried since she spends so much time talking to herself. She seeks to find new adventures as she seeks out her adoptive father to find out why he left without explaining himself. She will make potions any chance she gets to try and help her friends though the demon inside will try and ruin her attempts. The Fiend within her wants to escape but is overcome by her power and is trapped within but will try to stop her any chance he gets (will be detected by detect good and evil, or any other spells or abilities that detect evil presence) once the fiend is found out she will also attempt to destroy the creature
