The Mind's Jewel

The largest university and education centre in Peridot. Trains in all courses from the arts to law to sciences to magic.
Also acts as the central base for the Magus Arcanum, the Magus Simulacra and Imbros Verity as well as acting as the central law making and debate house of Peridot.
If you can afford the tuition then parents will choose to send their children or individuals will send themselves for a litany of reasons from knowledge and tutors, to the chance to become a member of the magus arcanum to the simple contacts that can be made.
If one wishes to enter the Mind's Jewel they go for a formal interview depending on what they are signing up for and their tuition is decided based on what takes place in their interview (the players will likely go for magic so this will involve questions about the value of spells, components etc.) their tuition is determined based on how they do in the interviews and exams.
The university is split up into subsects etc as well as rooming which are displayed in maps all across.
In short it is a fantasy university with the inclusion of the magus arcanum and one of the hands of the jewelled.
