The Celeste Family
They are the only paladins Emperor Honour can bring himself or the rest of The Kae to trust. For they interpret the will of the Duskmother herself and are the only ones The Venator even so much as pause to listen to.The Celeste family are a human family living in Sanctuary in Kaechaek where they act as advisors to Emperor Honour and interpreters of the will of the Duskmother. Their role was officially recognised when the former speaker of the Duskmother, Sorrow retired and they were chosen to act as the Duskmother's speaker in front of The Divine Council of Namarie. They are the only natives of Kaechaek to be a part of this council and they treat the role with a deep seriousness. The Celeste family are accomplished paladins that loathe undeath and help to combat The Quori and The Nocta Mori in their youth as a right of passage into the family. The Celeste family have considerable sway across Namarie and are seen as some of Honour's most trusted advisors in extra planar affairs. Though they have been accused of lacking the cunning and political accumen of other more accomplished politicians from Peridot and Vallea, it is for their honesty and combat proficiency that Emperor Honour respects them however. They are a good looking family with the shared trait of having golden eyes and dark black hair as well as having proficiency with a wide array of weapons and armours. The Celeste family have been in extended mourning after their daughter went missing and has been presumed dead after being kidnapped by a vampire... leading many political rivals to question the efficiency of a family that are supposed experts in destroying undead but cannot allegedly even protect their own daughter.
