Forgeborn

The first Forgeborn is said to have been born in the depths of Mount Fornax in an explosive experiment led by ancient Cinis dwarves. An iridescent humanoid shape formed in the flames of the aftermath. The Cinis dwarves thought the Forgebborn a gift from Vulcanus and thus treated it as an honored guest. It spent its time among the dwarves and learned of their culture and the world beyond the mountain. As time passed, the Forgeborn grew lonely of being the only one of its kind. It experimented with creating more of itself and eventually learned of a way to reproduce. The process was stressful on the Forgeborn as it combined it involved combining its own lifeforce and elemental energies with another humanoid. The process left the Forgeborn weak but with four beautiful children. One of fire, one of air, one of earth, and one of water. These children grew within the mountain but eventually left to make their homes elsewhere on Nalamiir.
