Tsunegawa Lake

The largest lake in the province, Tsunegawa’s northwestern shoreline dissolves into the Omikura Swamp while to the northeast, the steep slopes and sheer cliffs of the Taru Mountains plunge directly into its waters.   Numerous villages dot the rest of Tsunegawa’s shores, the largest being Moku Mura, situated both on the shore and on the large island that splits the source of the Itochu River.
