Secrets

A tradition embraced by samurai and peasants alike in Naishou Province, adherents believe that information loses worth the more widely it is known. While anyone with common sense would agree with that sentiment, residents of the province take it to extremes, carefully considering whether or not to share things that are even common knowledge.   Secrets are considered a proper offering to the Fortunes, typically written on pieces of paper which are then folded and left at the Fortune's statue. The monks of the temple gather the papers daily and ritually burn them.
