Koso Mura's marketplace is unique in the province: It is completely covered. Rain or shine, business can be conducted and the parties remain dry and shaded. As Koso Mura is the destination for nearly all of the raw materials and goods produced in the north of Naishou Province, the market stays packed. Pickpocketing is a problem, most of the thieves are children, and the doshin struggle to suppress it. At night, the marketplace becomes the city's entertainment district for the heimin and even some samurai. Colorful lanterns light up the space and open air sake houses and gambling games replace the daytime merchants.
