Imprisoned monk

There is a rumor that deep in the Kawa Forest, somewhere beyond Shizu Mura, a monk is kept prisoner in his own shrine. A creature lives there that will go on a bloody rampage if it is not constantly prayed to.
The villagers of Shizu Mura will not discuss this rumor, calling it rubbish if an outsider brings it up.
