Ghost Stories
Every village in the Nobu Valley has ghost stories. There will be some overlap between villages in a given part of the valley, but most will have their unique ones, as well. Most of them are about yorei, ghosts with tragic histories offering a moral lesson, and are popular for parents to tell their children.
Some, however, are based in truth. Exorcists occasionally pass through the valley and never want for work when they do. Moonless nights are believed to be especially conducive to supernatural sightings, but whether that's true or not, who can really say?
