The Terran and Martian Colonies had large and diverse resources which allowed the colonies to be self sufficient while still providing for the terrans and martians.
History
When the great colonization started, the terrans and martians decided to create an institution to manage their future colonies. When the colonies were still dependent on earth and mars, the colonies were costly and took up 4% of the entire governmental budget around both worlds. The institution formed a zone which they called the TTAMC imperial zone. The imperial zone included a large portion of the discovered land.
Disbandment
The terran and martian colonies disbanded on 176 PSR, after the revolution all over the nation which ended up splitting into many more.
