La Ruĝa Planeda Partio (LRPP)
Structure
The monarch's powers are limited by the constitution which divides the power among the executive heads of different departments.
Public Agenda
The agenda of the current government is to maintain whats left. To protect the rusting, depleted and decaying planets.
Assets
A vast army, navy and fortifications lining the border. A navy in decay yet strong and powerful. The resources have run dry and the LPPR must either die out or find new planets to fuel the empire.
History
The mining colonies were rich in minerals and oils to provide to the planet but were taken away by the terrains and martians to fuel their own industry.
This caused the revolt of 118 which ended with the separation of the mining colonies to gain independence from the the Terran and Martian oppressors and they established the LPPR as the party to rule supreme with a newly appointed monarch.
Territories
The military is omnipresent and seems to be the only thing remaining keeping the LRRP together but another prominent reason seems to be the fact that rejoining the confederation would be hard if a planet or region seceded form the LRRP. The LRRP keeps the press heavily under control on planets outside of Brass where the elites live. Propaganda and the grip over the mind including the government's credit program which restricts those who have a low credit score and jailing them while those with a high score receive benefits. The government can lower or increase your score at anytime.
This has made the confederation uncomfortable with working with the LRRP and have started to start small trade wars with the LRRP and with the LRPP losing its influence in resources, they may be kicked of the confederation entirely.
Military
The military of are strong ever since its founding. A declining economic power, it maintains a large military despite the apparent poverty of the citizenry. The army is made up of robots and human commanders. The commanders are mostly from the rich families on Brass. The monarch of the wilson family chooses the leader of the military but the executive heads of lawyers may if they win a majority vote kick out the leader of the military but this only happened once in the history of the LRRP and that was when the government switched hands from the Lees to the Wilsons.
Education
Education in the LRRP is close to no existence for most people. Most education is by private tutors for those who can afford it.
Infrastructure
The infrastructure on the planet is mostly hidden underground with large chambers and rooms under the ground.
