Wyrm Keep

Wyrm Keep is two floors tall, yet stretches around a hundred feet into the air, it's primarily built from the same red sandstone as the rest of He'dris surrounding walls, adorned above the main gate and portcullis with the head of an ancient red dragon, slain by Shak'bar when he claimed the main island of the Jaggerals for himself. the keep itself does not resemble a palace, or a grandiose villa, it's an impenetrable fortress with stone stacked high and guard towers in each corner, where atleast 2 crossbowmen are situated at all times.   The keep itself is surrounded by grass and a luscious garden filled with flora from across the world, it's hard to believe something like this can grow and even thrive in the harsh lands of the Jaggerals, this garden is closed in by two walls coming in from the western and northern gates of the main wall, stretching atleast one mile each way in, He'dri itself is around two-three miles in diameter.   Inside this massive fortress, it's adorned like a proper palace, the keep has been refurnished since it was used as an actual fortress, the bottom floor is one big room, as soon as one walks up the stairs, outside to the massive doorway, one enters the pharaohs space, gold lines the walls and floors, huge windows lets sunlight in all day and makes it look even more magnificent.   At the far end of the first floor sits a throne, raised on a dias, far too big for a mere human or even an orc. gilded and grandiose in appearance, two smaller seats are situationed beside the throne, one for each of his advisors, one Lord General Margrove, who fought with Shak'bar as they took the Jaggerals, and Gilmore Vermile, a close confidant to Shak'bar has been for years.   The second floor is strictly forbidden for anyone but Shak'bar and his servants and harem of men and women composed from close to any race known to the commoner, they all sleep in the same bed as the Pharaoh, the floor plan is three rooms, two rooms at the front and one at the back, the two at the front are equal in size and across eachother, a giant archway allows access to both of these, one a bathhouse the other a pleasure room, where as the last, the largest of the three rooms, is a bedroom, consisting mainly of one giant bed. All this lined with gold. There doesn't appear to be any visual exits or entries to this place, Shak'bar simply teleports himself to and from this location.

Purpose / Function

The original reason for the Keep was to have a fortress close to the water to ward of invaders when the Jaggerals were first claimed by Shak'bar in the War for the Jaggerals, steadily, Shak'bar expanded his territory and Wyrm Keep was converted to his personal dwelling, as this was the first fortification built when the pharaoh and his army first made land fall here, being simple mercenaries and a rag tag crew that decided to make this their home after exile.
