Ki

Ki is possibly the most powerful, useful and even quintessentially Japanese word in the Japanese language. Alone or in combination with other syllables, ki can mean many things.
Among the words and concepts incorporating that one sound are the words for feelings (kibun), weather (ten ki), energy (genki), gloom (kiomo), and on to the words for heart, mind, spirit, flavor, spark, value, humor, scent, interest, essence, energy, atmosphere, will, intention.
Uniting all those various words is a sense, though hard to pin down in other languages, of change, of something moving within the spirit or emotions of a person, a place…even a thing. Ki is ephemeral, ambiguous, while being everything and everywhere.
Ki Power (Su): These Guardians now sense the divine energy flowing through them and can channel this ki to manifest special powers. They can use their ki a number of times per day equal to 1 plus their Wisdom bonus (if any). Ki powers can be used only if the Guardian has a wisdom score of 10 or more.
Ki points and ki powers are earned through special training or in service to the kami. By completing heroic deeds around Tsushima, their legend and power will grow.
Ki renews each day at dawn.

Ki Powers

AC Bonus (Su): The Guardians can channel their Ki to grant them insight to better dodge blows, and granting them a sixth sense that lets them avoid even unanticipated attacks. So long as 1 Ki point is kept in reserve, they may add their Wisdom bonus (if any) to their Armor Class. This ability does not stack with the ninja’s or monk’s AC bonus ability.
These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks or when they are flat-footed. The character loses these bonuses when they are immobilized or helpless.
Axiomatic Blessing (Su): 1d6 vs Chaotic, or 2d6 vs Chaotic Outsiders, Lawful Weapon for the purposes of overcoming Damage Reduction. Lasts 5 rounds. Cost; 1 Ki. MUST BE LAWFUL.
