Mythas

The plane of Mundas, and the world of Mythas. It was the first world, and it still holds the life of the Magic peoples. It is separated from the land of man by the mystical boundary of the æther.   The shaping of the æther is what allows for the creation of magic, and it is zealously guarded by those who have it. The pantheon of gods which created these worlds no longer have control over their own creations, and so they rely on their half-blooded children and the occasional champion to shape their world for them.   Mythas is, alas, subject to cycles of peace and moderate prosperity, swiftly followed by apoplectic chaos. In order to avert an inevitable chaotic destruction, the gods created a being to help maintain a cycle. That being was called into existence shortly before men were separated from the Fey.   As it stands, neither world has much interaction with the other. Only through half-remembered myths and legends does either people remember the other.
