Mysidia
Forged in the fires of revolution stands the city-state Mysidia. Having survived two ages of overbearing oligarchies, Mysidia has now entered a Golden Age, led by a democratic government.
The technology that had been hoarded by the citizens of Magitek, the previous regime, is now available for all people of Mysidia to use. The New Mysidia Government, led by an elected Governor and District Leaders, works to rebuild Mysidia to bring it into a truly modern age.
Science and technology have flourished, and quality of life began to improve. People with disabilities could purchase magic-enhanced prosthetics, such as an arm that could be controlled like normal - all due to its magic properties. Infrastructure was retro-fitted with the combined magic and steam-based technologies and created the Mysidia Railway System. It is truly a peaceful time for Mysidians, but the future is still uncertain. Radical factions, such as Magitek sympathizers, and religious zealots who survived the purge, still lurk in the shadows and threaten to bring the city-state into darkness again.
As of the start of the Golden Age, Magitek's population is at around 5 million.
