Imperials

Generally considered the "base" ethnicity of the Triamic Empire: fair-skinned and Kaelic.

Almost all members of House Sheyla are Imperials, as well as about half of House Mekulet.

History

Contemporary Imperials are a mix of a few cultures, but the base of their culture was in the people of the Plains--the fair-skinned inhabitants of what is now Lumina and Heartland. The Plains folk had progressed to feudal city-states by the time the Sheyla landed on the continent. The Sheyla integrated with the local populations, their healing magic allowing the Kaelic Temple to easily overtake local pantheons.

The Plains folk gained cultural dominance in the wake of the Great Plague in 533 BEC, when the availability of Sheyla healing allowed them to survive and flourish while the neighboring populations--namely, the Desert Imperials of the Mukala Dominion and the Wights--were devastated. thus allowing their culture to gain a foothold as the great nation of Lumina and, later, as the center of the Triamic Empire.
