Musutafu

The city of Musutafu is the bustling capital. The rich rule within these walls and the tall buildings and paths are sparkling the closer you get to the center.
But where the rich may play, the poor will suffer.
Something is rotting within the edge of the wall. Tbe poor are all forced into slums, anyone showing magical potential dragged away to work for the King.

Demographics

5% of the population live in the ruling district at the center including staff members. 25% of the population are merchants, creators and people who offer specialist services live in the middle. 30% of the population live in the poorer district. These are the poor lucky enough to have homes and where you find the brothels and taverns. 40% live in slums at the edge of the wall.

Government

Monarchy led by Enji Todoroki.
He keeps a council of five of his closest advisors from the richest families around. These advisors vote on any laws that King Todoroki wishes to pass but they never deny him. They may also suggest things of their own.
The laws of the city are strict. It's not a religious city but if anyone is caught doing anything untoward then they're arrested and locked up quickly. Any children found with magical potential are sent out of the city to train to be part of the King's army.

Defences

A large, well fortified wall around the city.

Infrastructure

The middle of the city contains many different stores, expensive taverns, smithys and so on.
In the north of the city lays the shipyard where the Kings and merchants ships are moored and leave from.
