Munda
It is the year 5053 in Munda, and the only resource humanity doesn't seem to have a shortage of is people. The mass industrialisation and urbanisation of the world saw the human population grow exponentially at a ludicrous rate, with millions crammed into enormous, smog-choked factory cities. With severe pollution and overfarming, the natural ecosystems of Munda completely collapsed, resulting in the failure of plant life and incessant desertification. With only so many resources available in their own territory to sustain their enormous populations, and a 'kill or be killed' and 'it's us or them' mentality reigning supreme over what little diplomacy there is, the factions of humanity are stuck in a never-ending cycle of expansion, conquest and war.
