Personal history

Having been imprisoned by the warlord Darvin Void in his city of Oasis, Amatilda was left as but a prisoner of the dungeons until the Aegis Encarmien infiltrated Darvin's Castle, freeing her, and slaying the warlord and his lover. After the assassination of Darvin's love, the red cloak X, Amatilda found herself in the Astral Sea, with Hugo having accidentally opened a portal to the outer realm, splitting up everyone who had been in the room.   While in the Astral Sea, she was kidnapped and enslaved once again, this time by a Mind Flayer Colony, where she was bring prepped to become an illithid. Following her rescue by the Aegis Encarmine again, she remained in a slightly catatonic state, refusing to communicate with thoise around her. She did not improve until the hexblade Blandril, who was in the possession of the wandering lord Morberos, reached out to her mind and offered her power, which she promptly accepted.   Now with the power to potentially turn her life around, she found herself in the care of Hugo, a fellow warlock who "Trained" her, all while the warlock Morberos watched from afar and shunned her for her blunder of a decision, and the actions of Blandril.

Education

Amatilda experienced an advanced education through her years. As the next head of the Sira Merchant Family, it was important for her to develop the skills to manage both the family and the organization, thus her parents spared no expense on payer for the best tutors and teachers, and sent her to a prestigious school during her early teen years. By the time she was 15, she was traveling with her father during merchant trips, participating as a member of the caravans and helping to manage supplies, and sell wares.

Employment

As a member of the Sira Merchant Family, Amatilda is destined to become one of its prosperous merchants, and eventually succeed her father in taking over the family. Her future prospects are quite limited, but the wealth and connections it will provide her will allow her to become one of the most powerful women in the Vaupane Continent.

Mental Trauma

Amatilda suffers from indwelling psychosis, the fear of another being reading or tampering with one's mind. She developed this fear soon after meeting the Aegis Encarmine, when she was accidentally transported into an Illithid colony, and promptly enslaved by the Elder Brain and nearly transformed into an illithid herself.

History

Morberos is the Senior Warlock of the hexblade Blandril, and was the last living warlock of the blade until Amatilda made a pact with the blade right in front of him. Morberos considers warlocks of Blandril to be a sin, having slain his other brothers in the past, and with his tribe originally being meant to guard the blade and ward off those who would covet its gift. Morberos considers his own pact to be a sin to his people and is one of the many reasons he has taken the name of Exile.   Despite this, Morberos recognized that Amatilda agreed to the pact in a moment of extreme weakness, and descided to spare her, even going as far as to gift her his old flame tongue, and allowing her to learn from the warlock Hugo. Despite this, Morberos avoids contact with Amatilda, seeing any contact with her, and any cotnact between ehr and Blandril as a bad omen.
