Mun-Dun An unforgiving world.

Mun-Dun, its many lands, full of mystery and struggle. Its legends tell of a time when magic was wrought by powerful wielders who created flying mountains with cities on them to the simple commoner that could light a fire to keep warm. This enabled numerous nations comprised of various cultures and races to dot the landscape of Mun-Dun ranging from lush forests to harsh deserts. Some of them were fierce and warlike and others were peaceful and scholarly in nature. These very same legends then tell of a time when these flying mountains with their cities and their people came crashing to the ground. Clamity struck nations far and wide on Mun-Dun. Magic for all races simply ceased working. For many Ages, nothing changed and magic remained a rare and elusive thing. Neither divine prayer nor arcane research gave any answers and over time this event became known as the 'Collapse'. Civilization has withered away as wars, famine, disease and evil have become the norm and struggle is commonplace. Heros, like magic, is in short supply. Never have both been more needed than now, and that time is now.
