The Battle of Amerol Farm 4022

The farmers of Amerol farm, deserved no part in this conflict for they were but humble farmers working their Vineyards and fields when the goblins attacked. For some reason the other farms in the area were passed over by these very goblins making these farmers their only known victims.   The Battle of Amerol Farm took place on the third month day 14.  Heroes of the Green lands assaulted the goblin held position here, defeating all those who apposed them.  The battle was waged by two fronts one led by the wizard of Portland the other led by heros of the salt wood. While the wizard distracted the main forces of goblin with powerful fire magics the heroes of the salt wood broke into the main encampment of the goblins defeating its ogre leadership scattering the forces that remained.   Unknown during the Battle of Amerol Farms the fire pyre and the drums, of what was believed to be the rumored great feasting; was all a diversion to what end remains a mystery. During the aftermath of the battle a earthquake was felt throughout the valley of the Green Lands.   The total fallen of the battle of Amerol Farms counts 32 farmers, 137 goblins 14 ogres, 3 ettins.   Although the remaining forces of the goblin hoard still remains a threat at this time they appear disorganized. More then one report has sighted the goblins turning on one another. Oddly the chaos, of the goblins has not resulted in any of them harming any other nearby farmsteads or hamlets.   Goblins and monstrous giants have not ventured down from the mountains in number such as these in any kinds of recorded history of Portland their reasons and purpose still remain shrouded in what they refer to as the Great Feasting was this battle the Great feasting or has it yet to come the answer to that question remain unknown.
