On the day of the showing when King Benmark the 8th Graced the Theater with his appearance that night the audience gave out quite the "gasp" for they all had seen the note he received.

The play proceeded as normal all up until the end at the very climax of the play when the fair elf maid is supposed to profess her love to the scoundrel of the play. Bella the actress in question breaks character turns to the King professes her love to HIM and asks the king himself to take her away from this life. Flipping the very roles of the play onto him. In turn maybe a bit caught of guard by the impressive, gesture of love. The king does spirit the fair actress Bella Softeye away to live with him in the Castle of Portland.
