Mortvian IV

Mortvian IV is a huge Hive World in a heavily Imperium-occupied system. With a population of slightly over forty billion, distributed in a series of major cities packed with factories, caves, and narrow streets filled by the lowest scum of the Imperium, Chaos is always on the brink of spreading to the upper levels.     Dozens of languages can be heard everyday on the streets of Mortvian cities, spanning from Low Gothic in the upper levels, to the secret codes of criminals and the forbidden languages of cultists and traitors.     As a countermeasure against the spreading corruption, the Inquisition deployed several regiments of Imperial Guardsmen, who now work together with the local militias. As the cults flourish, however, more and more expeditions are sent in the dark depths of the Underworld, where most of the citizens live, and most of the chaos appears. But no soldier can shoot at a target they can't see. Someone needs to light the way.   Now more than ever, the Inquisition needs to make a move. Squads are assembled and sent on the planet. Heroes will prove their worth, or chaos will consume them all.
