ECorp's CTL Synthetics - "New Dawn" Line

The late 2030's saw mass introduction of the world's first "official" line of synthetic enhancements courtesy of ECorp. Such innovations were considered revolutionary even outside the technological sphere. This hardware, originally intending to assist those with impaired limbs and poorly functioning muscles, assisted in many ways granted “wearers” enhanced strength, lowering muscle fatigue thresholds, superior grip, extended range of motion, and were equipped with (optional) synthetic skin which would simulate a highly accurate depiction of the human body’s sense of touch. Other such amplifications included adaptive visionary sensor capabilities within the eyes, enhanced perceptive capabilities for the aforementioned eyes and eardrums, and synthetic lung attachments to aid with respiratory issues. All manner of cybernetics required the installation of a CIM, typically within the upper regions of the spine or within the sternum, which acted as main battery powering the majority of the host’s prosthetics. More expensive models were almost entirely self-sufficient though the vast remainder of synths required supplies of AP readily available in varying quantities (Chips, cables, capsules, etc) among many applicative marketplaces.

Manufacturing

Various parts and materials are outsourced from a variety of contacts by ECorp and shipped to factories where they may be assembled to form the components making up these various synthetics. Components are often 3d printed and later fitted together by android working bots within massive facilities where they are then carefully transported to their respective ACM's warehousing units.

Access & Availability
Applicative cybernetic, mechanical augmentations, and enhancements of many varieties are all available courtesy of pseudo-technological pseudo-medical facilities known as applicative cybernetic markets open to the general public. The process one must undergo to receive such development is not unlike surgery or other medical procedures. One must first make a deposit to a respective market and schedule an appointment where they shall discuss the technicalities and requirements with an accredited practitioner. After this, a surgery date of established where the patient may undergo augmentation under general anaesthetic for up to several hours. Depending on the manner of synthetics several appointments may need to be scheduled. ACM accept many methods of payment and offer several short to long-term payment plans. In addition, certain holders of accredited permits may face lower fees. Undergoing cybernetic enhancement is no less inconvenient or difficult than hiring a lawyer or purchasing and licensing a vehicle.
