Purpose / Function

Model Com 05288 underwent development specifically in the mid 2040's in an effort to more adequately house the combined millions of residents in the surrounding regions of west Queens. Several blocks were erected individually, respectively called A and B and C etc, and connected via pedestrian overpasses, several roads interconnecting to existing highways, and hyperloop transportation units. Each block hosted an average of 20-30 thousand apartments with their own respective medical facilities, marketplaces, etc. Though the goal for the creation of such a facility was to adequately house the mid to lower class effectively and affordably, thus some corners were cut as expected from time to time.

Alterations

Overall living space was hardly substantial and the quality of necessities such as water and gas was less than ideal, but such was not unwelcome at such bargain prices. One wouldn't even be required to pay a four figure sum for a month of residency. Individual complex blocks were split somewhat with commercial and recreational facilities such as gyms, supermarkets and restaurants amongst the ground levels, business offices and higher end apartments towards the summit of the structure, and the majority of living spaces sandwiched in between. Additional parking was offered for a small monthly sum within occasional floors serving as designated parking spots. Numerous eco-powered elevators ran throughout the complex of varying sizing capable of ferrying between dozens to hundreds of people, though the particularly well-off may afford to install their own private elevating system for a sizeable figure. Under ground, the tower permitted access to various lines of the Queens metro system as well as various hyperloop transit stations.
