First Fharyne Civil War
As a historian, I find myself perplexed that the Fharyne Civil Wars number four and not three. After all, what is currently classified as the first war was little more than a skirmish, and hardly set the revolutionary ball rolling, so to speak. Indeed, was the insurrectionary force not completely crushed by the crown forces? I doubt any of the leaders even survived to start the true First War a decade later. But, of course, I am not the royal bookkeeper, and if the crown wishes to claim an extra victory, then who am I to deny them that? Still, it irks me that our history is host to such bothersome incongruities.

The Conflict
Prelude
Rumors of the Lee family's claim to the throne began months before the First Civil War. Many Fharyne people thought that they were rubbish, but just as many found themselves drawn to the Lees' promises of a new dawn for Fharyn. As the power of the Lees grew, the crown became aware of the unrest and sent a sizable force to crush the rebellion and consolidate their own power.
Outcome
The rebellion, for the time being, appeared to be crushed. The Crown's power increased as it had demonstrated its might, and for a time there was an uneasy but consistent peace in Fharyn.
Aftermath
Many people grew wary of the Crown's power after their crushing and merciless victory over the Lees. These people would operate somewhat covertly for the next ten years, learning to avoid the boldness of their predecessors, and eventually kickstarted a series of grueling civil wars across the Kingdom of Fharyn.
