The Sunken Dunes

When the Separation plague happened the land between the mountain and whisper kingdoms was just a large canyon seemingly infinitely deep. But one day Sand rained from the sky and then the next day it continued, for a month straight it rained sand eventually it became a desert. but the sand was not enough to completely fill it except for at the edges so it had the appearance of sinking the the name The Sunken Dunes.
Only one Outpost was ever made. It's used to help the mountain trading company transport stuff across the desert but travelers can rest here.

Geography

A 100 Mile stretch of land between the whispering kingdom and the mountain kingdom completely covered giant sand dunes huge sink pits and sand and more sand and a whole lot more sand.

Fauna & Flora

The sunken desert is too dry to manage to support any life except the dune burrower The suami lizard and the dust tree.

Natural Resources

Almost completely barren the sunken Dunes has not much in natural resources. It's mainly used as a route between the whispering kingdom in the mountain kingdom, although it is a perilous journey. It's also the only place where do in burrowers can be found so dune burrower skin is technically a natural resource from there.
