Dwarf

Dwarves are one of the few non-human races which have thrived. It is believed by some that it was the Dwarves who turned the Humans against the Elves. The Dwarves gave the Humans some of the great Rune weapons which were used against the Elves in the war which drove the Elves from the Empire. Since then, the Dwarves have prospered, but in their own areas. The major settlements have some enclaves of dwarves, but they live in their own communities.
