Lepus
Lepus constellation lies in the northern sky, just under the feet of Orion. The constellation’s name means “the hare” in Latin. It's sometimes depicted as a hare being chased by the hunter Orion or by their hunting dogs, represented by Canis Major and Canis Minor.
Belongs to the Orion family of constellations, along with Canis Major, Canis Minor, Monoceros and Orion.
Summary
Aside from being chased by Orion, Lepus is also depicted as the moon rabbit - they live on the Moon, based on the interpretations that identified the markings of it as a hare or rabbit. It's said that they pound the medicine for mortals.
