UZMBAF Flying Battery

The United Zones of Mobius Battery Armada Flagship 'Flying Battery' is Mobius-2's largest operational airborne battleship. She was manufactured by a German-originated shipbuilder's company called "Mobius Luftwaffe und Raumschiff Schiffbauer", or "Mobius Airforce and Spaceforce Ship Builders". She is 2,000 feet long and about 200 feet tall. Built in the year 2055, the Flying Battery's original purpose was to be a cruise zeppelin, with a voyage across the Central Sea about twice a month. She was designed as a vintage airship, but with modern accommodations. Air conditioning, hot and cold water, wifi, and other luxuries were all included onboard. But, in the year 2080, the First Interplanetary War began, and the Flying Battery was one of the first civilian vessels to be converted to wartime mode.
She was painted with dazzle camouflage, replacing her old coat of royal blue, with dull grey, dark grey, black, and some shades of white. Each window on the side of her fuselage was reinforced with bulletproof glass, and some of them had large guns placed in them. On the underside of the ship, the rubbish chutes were reconfigured to become bomb hatches, where Mark IV 500 pound bombs could be dropped onto the enemy below. The Flying Battery was fitted with electromagnetic weapons that could disarm the enemy's weapons from above without being seen.
One major drawback of this method is the distinct charge-up sound it makes when being activated. She served in the Interplanetary War for seven years, before dropping out of service and becoming a cruise liner once again. During those seven years, however, she had amassed a following, so to speak. Ten other airships were constructed in a similar fashion to the Flying Battery, and they together were dubbed the 'Battery Armada'. The Flying Battery was of course, the flagship of the Armada, and together, the group went on many campaigns on Anti-Mobius, striking with devastating force, and never letting up until the enemy was subdued. Today, the Battery Armada are still together, albeit not in use at the moment. The Flying Battery kept her wartime livery and lived up to her name. She was a terrifying force of destruction during the War, and in peacetime, she served hundreds of thousands of passengers. The Battery Armada rests in the UZM Military's Launch Base, as a part of their Reserve Fleet.

The UZMBAF Flying Battery is one of the largest aircraft ever built on Mobius-2. It served valiantly alongside its other comrades in the Interplanetary War and survived many battles unscathed. She is currently retired from service, but occasionally is brought out of retirement for short excursions.
