The Cult of Darkspine

This cult was formed 700 years ago as a result of the appearance of a strange entity on Mobius-2. This entity is believed to originate from three of the seven World Rings. Each Ring is color-coded. Red is for Rage, Yellow is for Joy, Green is for Hatred, Dark Blue is for Pleasure, Light Blue is for Prayers, Grey is for Wishes, and Purple is for Sadness. When the Rings of Rage, Hatred, and Sadness are brought together, the user is possessed by the Darkspine. This entity is extremely powerful. While in this Darkspine form, the user's physical appearance changes drastically.

Their fur turns a deep indigo color, and their skin turns pale white. They gain a single thick white stripe around their feet and around their arms (close to the elbow), as well as a pair of much thinner white stripes that go up their forehead and down to the back of their head (or quills if the user is a hedgehog), and a secondary pair of stripes that go on the back lower middle section of the head. In addition, the user's pupils and irises disappear completely. The user's eyes become more angular and any hanging hairs droop lower than normal. The user loses any sort of handwear and footwear and gains golden rings around their ankles and wrists. Their voice undergoes a slight change, becoming much gruffer, but maintaining normal pitch. Finally, the user is surrounded by a flaming orange aura.

The Cult of Darkspine firmly believes that if each member offers something of immense importance to the Darkspine entity, they will be spared of its eventual wrath. So far, the entity has not caused much harm to the world. In the year 2046, the large statue of the President was found vandalized with images of the Darkspine's face. In the year 2100, another huge image of the Darkspine's face was found carved into the side of a mountain. It is unknown who is responsible for these images, but the Cult is sure that the Darkspine is the one doing it. In terms of occurrence, the Darkspine entity does not have a solid appearance 'schedule'. It's pretty random. However, it has been reported that when the Darkspine appears, it stays in our realm for about a week, then disappears again. After a user has been freed of the Darkspine's control, they are left with white stripes around their elbows; the only evidence that they were ever possessed.
